What's this Samurai wire?

There is a wire coming out of the brake Master cylinder on my Samurai. Does anyone know what its for? I'm doing the Subaru M/C replacement and the one I've got doesn't have any electrical fittings. Its probably low fluid but just checking.

It will be low fluid level indicator. Will make handbreak light come on when the level is low.

Definetly low fluid level indicator....is it not connected to anything? :shock:

Thanks guys. I dont have a hand brake on/off wire hooked up either and that light doesn't come on.
