Got the gas tank skid replacement:

viewtopic.php?f=32&t=9701

Now if the weather holds up I can start preping it for paint. Otherwise will have to look someone to do it during the week.

Any recommendations for a powder coating outfit in central Auckland?

A name would help. Silverdale is not too far away if prices and quality are good.

I am in Mt Eden, so can take any motorway and I am off. Distances are relative!!! I have next week off so its easier for me drive to a place. Whats the name of this place in East Tamiki?

Yip, but unless you strengthen it, it'll happen again.
Just straighten it, and weld a length of angle steel along it

If you weld any steering component you will not get a wof or any sort of engineering certification.
You can slide a extra sleeve over the outside of it though.

They streighten quite easy, they not that strong.

Adjust the toe in and leave it bent that way you cant bend it any more :D

Hi TJ,
The name's Gerald and before I moved down to the Waihopai Valley, Marlborough, I lived and ran my own business from home in Royal Oak, Auckland.
I used this guy listed below for all my powder coating requirements and I was always happy with the work and finish. He is not far from you.

dunno bout that. I've got farmers ringing me up now to see if it would be any good as a farm hack.

I suppose it would round the sheep up faster
