terrano questions
just wondering about a cuple of things regards the terrano 2.7td engine. on the crossover pipe from the turbo there is a butterfly valve that opens and closes as the engine revs. would removing this be of benefit to the engine ie letting it breath better .also would the addition of an intercooler make a huge diference in the performance or is the improvement less noticable. thanks all
Re: terrano questions
disable that butterfly. however just check thats its not also used for engine shutoff. you only want to disable the partial closeing part of it, not the full closeing on shut off.
its actually part of the EGR system (emmisions) so it would pay to disable the egr as well.
you should notice its drives a lot nicer at part throttle. it will not change full throttle at all (unless it was faulty).
