33x12.5x15 KumhoKL71 x5 for sale

Post by albundy »

Have x5 Kumho kl71 directional MT tyres for sale, 33x12.5 x15. Three are 3/4 worn, one near new, 5th as spare has a side patch secondary to slashing on westcoast. Good quality and expensive when new tyre. Asking $800 ono for all five. They are exceptional in snow, mud and ice. Selling as I have moved to a simex pattern.

Hi

3/4 worn out or 3/4 left?

I was looking at getting these, you can get them for $250 each new. Are they any good? Guess not as you are changing to Simex?? :?

If you can get 33's for that price, I'd go for them, I've never seen them that cheap

Depends on what you compare them to.
I know guys that run them, and wouldn't change, unless going simex etc. For that price, I don't think you could go wrong.

They will be on the Rangie and it will be used for a bit of running around on road and all nexts years Laurie Sanson events plus as much off road stuff as I can fit in.

I am looking at either the KL71's or maybe Maxxis Bighorns but I do like the look of the KL71

Search the forum for them. Pretty sure Al here has nothing but praise for them in a few threads. If I remember correctly he/someone else said the other week he was moving up to 35's? Could be wrong.

Bit out of my meager budget's reach unfortunately.

1. 3/4 left, and if you can get them for $250 each go for it as that is cheaper then what they are coming into the country for.
2. not on trademe, not a big fan of it.
I'm selling the kumhos as I have gone to a very aggressive 35" tyre for the sort of stuff I am doing at the moment. They are an exceptionally good all round tyre. They clear mud very well at low revs, better then a BFG or MTR in my opinion. I would have bought 35 kumhos but they are not in the country in a 15"rim size, the americans are snavelling them all up (Kumho dealer told me this). I would be going kumhos over maxxis, but then thats my personal choice. They have done just over 21,000 k's if thats any help.

yea, $250 is cheap for a 33" kl71 and if you can get them for that I'd highly recommened getting them, they cost me more than that and we're a tyre team/kumho dealer! I've only got the 31's on mine atm, also waiting for the mighty 35". I think they're an awesome tyre, 38-40psi on road and they're quiet as.

It was $246 plus GST and as soon as my Audi sells - see trade-me http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing ... =152243594

and I get four matching wheels - see viewtopic.php?f=15&t=11221

then I will be getting them!

31x10.5's were cheap this month, if you paid that price direct from blairs (kumho wholesaler) they probaly would be barely making anything, although that will be about $1250 all up but still, not much margin there.

Yeah It was Blairs. They quoted me a good deal as we buy a fair bit off them and I said I would chuck some stickers on the Rangie as a bit of advertising.

Only one thousand two hundred and fifty small reasons why I haven't bought them yet.........

I have also been in talks with another supplier and could possibly get Hankook RT03's in 32/11.5/15.

Has anyone used them? Any feedback apprecaited.
