Hi all
just spoken with Scott and he has been having computer problems so if you don't get a reply just hang in there he will get back to you.
The Rere bush run is on again..5th & 6th July 08, Its going held to be at a different location and promises to be very challenging with plenty of very sticky Rotomahana mud.. The format has changed to a trails/teams recovery/ winch/ teams event, a bit of something for everyone. This is rapidly becoming a "must do" event with a lot of last years drivers asking to be included the next time its run. Its limited to 30 vehicle's so get in quick...You will need crash helmets and a roll bar or roll cage. More info as it comes available
see you there
cheers

only if you and you crew are useless and piss around, or you shit your winch etc etc
there are capable recovery vehicles that will come rescue you as a very last resort
you are expected to be able to get yourself out
the marshalls are only there to tell you where to go, normally
and scott will be on your case if you piss around waiting for a group of 10 or more trucks
get a small bunch of mates together and team up and enter
recommend 4-5 very capable trucks to a team
team is the word to
no sitting on your ass watching another team member run out his own winch, get in there and help before another team overtake you and you get embarrassed

Yes, there is a hall with heaters and a great reserve next to a lake to camp,

Hi Mark, All new tracks on private land. I may time this years event to put a bit of speed into the day and to keep the trucks moving(sort of a comp). Bring your helmet
Not so many stumps to hit this year as it's all on bulldozed tracks.
Cheers Scott

Hi, the tracks have being bulldozed through the cut over pines, there's some steep hill climbs and a couple of bogs to drive.
At the time these pic's were taken it was very dry and we still havn't had any rain

.hopefully it rains a couple of days before (july 5-6).
Even if it dosn't rain you will still need a reliable winch.
Cheers Scott
