Hey there, i bought my '93 toyota hilux surf 3L turbo, around 2months ago, it started off doing possibly around 10-11L/100km its now doing 14L/100km, just wandering what other peoples trucks are getting for fuel usage???
Seems abit od as it all changed within 1week went from descent to poor, i can do up to 1/2 a tank a day haha, but on average ill do 1/4 tank just driving to and from work each day..... ive tryed slowing down on my throttle doesnt appear to make any difference.

In My 94 Surf Automatic 3ltr Turbo diesel 31 inch tyres.
I get around 12.5 ltrs per 100km.
If im getting due for an oil change the consumption gets a little worse.
Also a dirty air cleaner or fuel filter can make a differece too.

Check for extra drag first.
Tyre pressures, wheel bearings, dragging brakes etc. Try to push the truck along the garage floor and see how hard it is.
