*Warning* on what you say in public

Just a small word of warning - this is a public forum. There are a couple of threads running here which could be taken very much the wrong way by anyone in authority who may be reading. Hell, our man Helen could be a secret member of this list and no-one would know.

Now I'm not saying don't speak your mind or don't share wonderful tips on how to beat the government at its own game of theft and skullduggery but just be very careful what you say and how you word it.

It would only take one person to be reading that doesn't much care for our cavalier attitude to authority and we could all be lined up against the wall and shot... oh well, at least all dragged in to have our vehicles minutely disected.

There is another 4WD forum widely used, full of twats which is why I no longer belong (and now I've made such a bold public statement I'm not telling you which one it is :) ) where a certain 'vocal' chch 4WDer made some remarks he probably wishes he hadn't about a certain automotive business who, through another twat on the board, found out about it and dragged him through the courts. Not quite the same, but it shows how things can get rather stupid if you're not careful.

My 2c

Steve

**NOTE: All comments made in this statement were done under the influence of mind altering (but legal) substances applied by undercover foreign agents during a bust on my classified UFO storage facility. I take no responsibility for anything a say, or have said. Please direct all enquiries to the nearest McDonalds restaraunt. Thanks and have a nice day...

Yes, since the first thread appeared on the subject i had wondered if it was a good idea really.
I don't think two many people have said anything seriously incriminating.
Its all for offroad use where such things don't apply.
Provided thats clearly stated, and you can afford really good lawyers your sweet!!!

I know that a few car forums here in Oz have had cops using them to find out when illegal activities are happening then turn up to bust them.

Spose you could PM your loopholes and their solutions to the person concerned instead of publicly posting them

AS some people are paranoid about big brother is watching you, the comments made by my self are lifted directly from the VTNZ of which Im a recent past member. They know these loop holes, they have been published, and a few more but are relucate to close them as they feel its hitting a few with a sledge hammer. I'm not a lawyer and havent got time to waste looking for loop holes in law. At recent and on going seminars they told us MTA members of some of these laws. They are well aware of the amount of laws govering this country as someone pointed out they have better lawyers. You and I have bigger things to worry about ie closure and access rights to public owned lands dont look at the trees, look at the forest. I dont need mind altering drugs
Its a black day when in NZ you cant speak and express your veiws.

Not 2 c worth the whole $1

Hey DJ, sorry this thread wasn't aimed at you, or anyone for that matter... it was a generalised warning.

I appreciate (and I'm sure everyone does) any legal loopholes that may exist - I just felt that the direction that thread was going was going to end up crossing into questionable areas and unfortunately big brother DOES watch - I've seen it happen, as I mentioned.

Keep up the loopholes :) Maybe we need a FAQ on legal matters.

I hope that our authorities take a look around at the theft, assault, carnage on the roads, etc, etc, and spend my hard earned tax money that is going out my door at over $350 per week..................on better things than chasing up a few people trying to get the best mileage for their dollar out of a diesel :!: :!:
who the hell would want one anyway, took mine out a gave the damn thing away
Now when I drive the truck at least i've got a :P from ear to ear but don't have to worry about what I sayon ORE:wink: ...........................just what it costs to fill the tank :(
