90-92 Prado 4.88 front diff head or R&P: WANTED!

Hi All

Trying to get the 'Cruiser rollin again for the winter. She needs a front diff head - 1991 LJ71/78 4.88 ratio high pinion - or alternatively a new crownwheel & pinion. These seem to be about as common as rocking horse manure so if anybody knows where I might be able to find them please let me know ASAP. Give me a call on 027 212 4485 or 07 362 7896.

I have decided the Prado is going to get Safari front & full floater Cruiser rear diffs before too long but I need something to keep me going until then!

I pulled one of those out of a wreck to chuck in last weekend, they don't fit the crownwheel is on the wrong side for the bulge in the housing.

Thanks guys, I finally found one yesterday, got a complete front axle on the way down from Aucks now. It put a $650 dent in the beer budget though which stings a bit as I got a rear diff head for $300 from a wrecker last year, & the whole Nissan front axle I've got waiting to go in was $200 At least I'll have spare CV's I spose.
