I have given up on finding off the shelf lockers for my feroza, I am thinking of either
a Solid axle swap of a welded front differential. Anybody in this forum have welded
their front differential? I would appreciate your feedback and opinion. tia

with a little engineering a surf front diff would fit, then all you have to do is get a ring and pinion kit to change the ratio then buy and install locker

Thank you 2Roky,
I might as well do that. I am thinking of welding my front differential and if i don't like
the ride or the control during 4x4 operation, then I will do Solid Axle conversion. What
is your experience with your conversion with a Hi-lux front differential? Did you also
convert the front into a coil spring suspension? or Is it leaf spring?
Re: Welded differential for Feroza
i havent actually done the conversion should be easy enough to do though with the right know how. you could even put a hilux rear diff under it which would mean you would be able to get a locker for that too. just keep in mind that the fez is 5.29 ratio i think for memory so make sure that you can get hold of the required pinion and crown wheel before doing the hilux swap. the truck in my avatar is only me play truck i also have a fez which is what im refering to
