Well Taz01 showed everyone how to get stuck
Image

Then Beer-cruiser flew to the rescue to show people how to tow
Image

While the ladies looked on with dreamy eyes at the masterfull way the boys recovered Taz01 from out of the mud
Image

Success at last
Image

Sadam was there making sure that the recovery was done correctly
Image

For no reason a hot chick turned up
Image

So you see it was a case of those who have a few clue's showing those who don't the basic's.
I would hate to have someone who has never done a recovery think that you just attach a stop to a towball and take off at a million miles an hour

That is why I asked who was doing the training? It appears nobody is willing to answer, why is that?

If somebody feels that they have the driving/teaching/leadership skills and to run training days, why can't that somebody speak up and say "I am running it and I welcome questions"

We've had this discussion before BUBBA, and you have seen training schedule at MARK's recently and thought it was really good. as for the facilitators I Initiated the training days and kicked off the towhook lecture and snorkel lecture, other experienced ORE Assn members assisted and took over sections, . the training is equal to or better than what other local clubs are offering and is just an introductory session.

Not sure what your point is as we are running the optional NZQA certificates for those who want official training. I will be refining the "course notes" prior to this one anyway. Why are you not passing similar comment at the training days held down south as these are similar in format and they have no issues.

Another prime example today of why these should be run. We watched in horror as someone attempted to recover a wagon by using the winch rope as a strop and also trying to snatch him out sideways with it   . Dodn't realise that Tony could move so fast or that Jerry could run that quickly in his gumboots   Won't even mention the trailer shackels as recovery gear
Needless to say they were stopped before anyone was harmed and shown the correct and safe methods for vehicle recovery :D

It was one of those get in as quick as possible and stop them before we all have to start diving for cover to avoid the flying towhook/ steel winch cable/ shackel moments :o
