Hi Tim
I always put the spark plugs back into the leads then earth the plug out ..to take the load off the coil packs not sure if this is correct or not but never had a coil pack die yet..better yet disconnect the power supply to the coil pack
now about that valley ant ( VE?? )

Compression test done. all 149 apart from two which were about 152. Changed spark plugs, leads, and coil pack so looks like i'll be checking the injectors next.

my mechanic did that ... he plugged a little light into each plug and the light flashed on each time. he told me that ment the injectors were working fine.

hell yes! got the beast purrin again after finding out that one of the brand new spark plugs was poked.
Was very annoyed about that and the fact that i changed leads and coilpack and an injector and missed two 4wd events. Who would a thought that a brand new plug would be faulty, suppose i should have checked that.
Making some rock sliders on the weekend and maybe a hoop roll bar thingy. And hopefully my tyre guy gets me my rims and tubes in for my new 35s. woop.

just because the injector is getting the pulse doesnt mean its working correctly.
