heater on hilux

As the topic says the heater on the hilux has stopped and would need to sort it by qb weekend 
The fuses or still ok and had the dash apart but cant see any thing. One of the guys was driving it a couple of weeks a go and said there was a spark come from the left hand side down by the floor , i looked at the computer and it looks nice and dry ,there is a lot of wires that go into the computer(sorry dont know the name of it) but there is one red wire that is by its self off the main bunch and it looks like it has come of some thing. 
So if anyone has a idea that would be great thanks abbo
