 Perhaps try posting in the Toyota thread??
We are alll Nissan buffs in here

But seeing as you asked:
How much does a mecano set weigh??
I'll ring up Toyworld and ask.
Is that with or with out the dog in the back??
If you remove the factory hay bales from the back seat, and the fencing gear from of the tray you can cut the weight down.
Probably pull the 2.8 diesel and drop a 4hp Briggs & Stratton in there for more power and less weight.
Come to think of, if you also pulled the park bench from the front and went to the warehouse and picked up some of those resin deck chairs you could also improve it. Probably make it more comfortable to.
If you pulled the front diff out, as it doesn't do anything any way as one wheels gets air going diagonally over a speed bump as you drive into the RD1 store, you could save weight there.
Either that or it broke a CV or half shaft while you were engaugeing the free wheel hubs by hand.
You may be better of to scrap the whole engine and gear box and insert peddles instead, as even with the Briggs & Stratton performance implant the damn gear box cross member still scraps over the speed bump at the RD1 store carpark.

Should i stop???

Sorry man, i got carried away
hey Mr Eaten fuller you just stepped into a mine feild these Nissan owners are very touchy ... I put it down to they have to have the biggest under powered over priced $wd ...... its some times called small dick syndrome. dont tell them though just say gee thats nice mmmm thats great... and if they get nasty just ask if they have a g/f or partner. The most dangerous Nissan owner is the ones with a Micheal Jackoff picture suck to a swinging air freshner.
Head to the Toyota section we will look after you

news news
today it was anounced that Nissan Japan had brought controling shares in Pouland. Pouland have been manufactures of home handy man light chainsaws and small motors and are the main opposition to Homelite in the north American market. Nissan spokesman was quoted as saying that although they had poured millions of dollars(US) into developing a top of the range motors they couldn't match the power out puts. He went on to say that they public release of the new Nissan CQ with the new and vastly improved ,heavy duty motor will be released as soon as the a suitable rubber band has been found.
