How many of you guys run without the sway bars in place.
And how was the four wheeling without the front bar on and or rear bar.
Tell me what you think and which bar or bars you have removed.
Answers both good and bad is desired for off road and road use.

Cheers John.

Was it worth the effort for the off roading?

i think it was, due to it not being hard to remove them so it was no effort. the front is really easy. maybe 10 mins if the bolts arnt siezed, and the hardest part of the rear was having to undo a shock to get the bar fully out.

You obviously don't drive a Pajero to have made that comment.

depends on the WOF guy. At my On road, they have never mentioned the lack of sway bars, front or rear. The only comment I have ever got on the Patrol is, "It is good to see a 4wd been used for what it is made for".

The Jeep didn't have a rear antisway bar, and I have completely removed the front one. A bit more lean in the corners on the open road, but definitely more articulation off road. Haven't been for a WOF since removing it, but the mud will have covered any sign of it so it should all be good.

I think my front one is gone? Either way I am getting disconnects done on the front and back, I prefer to have the option of rolling or not :)

So it appears my front is completely gone (and always has been) and my rears are already disconnects - Hello articulation and spare change in the wallet!
