steering arm

i need a steering arm i think that what it called on drivers side top arm the ball is worn on my and keeps poping out. The ute is a 1990 hi lux and need it by next weekend for the qbw bash . I got a kit for it and put it in and it keeps coming out. It only had one half moon thing in it should it have two???????
Don't have 4wd.

Post a pic of what ya need, may be able to hook ya up
Got a Daihatsu Something, hasn't got a Daihatsu engine.... or diffs.... and it doesn't have windows.... or doors.... but its got tyres.... :)

I can't get close to the price on tm, would be near $200 :roll:

I got 1 m8 will put it in the post tomorrow
swb lux with 7mge, trailgear crossover, trailgear rear lift kit, custom front bar, runva 1200lb winch, custom snorkel, 37" Mtrs, custom deck, lockright in the rear.

Damm I just had a look at that link to trade me :shock: $50 is a bit steep I buy em for $25 off one of the local wreakers for cross over steering....
If your still stuck I'll swop ya your stuffed one for a good one... and you can owe me a shout if we meet, as all I do is cut the back off the arm anyway :wink:

I machine the top off the passanger arm and the bottom of drivers arm to create a mating surface, the spacer block is designed to fit over the cones and nuts on the bottom one and push onto the machined surface of the bottom arm with the drives arm flipped I machine receivers for the taper cones in the "new" top so you can locate it, its about as strong as you can make the budget X-over setup, oh and I also ream a new balljoint tapper up into the top arm so you can mount the drag link in from the bottom :wink: ... and theres a set of 4130 studs as well ...

yep we fixed his one today temp measure for now will try get round tomorrow and grab it for him
