ALTERNATE RIM WIDTHS

Howdy guys :D

I am going to be running 15x7 rims on my AT's and 15x8 on my MT's - tyre man says this is cool - yes/no?? Any pitfalls/concerns??

ooooh - nevermind - he just rang up - apparently the 8inch wont clear the callipers and so i am sticking with the 7inch size so yeah, nevermind!! AND i didnt know that the wheel spacers were illegal!!!???

Yes they are illegal on-road. If you are after extra width then have a look at off-set rims. They let you go legally wider with tyre width, but you have to have wheel arch flares that still cover the tyres.

It is just the internal of the rim (the part of the rim that bolts to the hub). Instead of being closer to the outside of the rim, it is off-set to be closer to the inside of the rim.
That way you are moving width of the rim/tyre outwards.

wheel spacers are legal but thay have to be of a certain design .....check out the shop on this site
