powerful cheap diesel?

Whats a reasonably grunty cheap diesel to replace a 4.1 falcon motor?
i thught of a nice cummins, but cheap dosnt really come into that one....
or maybe buy a turbo td42 for my patrol and chuck my NA one in my ute?

Checkout the hamilton Wreckers, somebody has parted out a Ssangyiong Musso, with a 2.9 TDI , I have managed 150BHP from mine.

was a 4 cyclinder detroit for sale on trademe with about 170bhp and 471 blower hanging off it,
had a fuller five speed trans behind it ,
thought about repowering my bedford van with it.
nothing like a screaming gear driven 471 to add some torque,
was a big donk though had to have been 400 to 500 kilos including the box,
