Smokey 2lte

I have just installed a 2.5 inch exhaust from the turbo back on my 2lte surf and have a noticeable increase in power but it now smokes like a train
so what can i do to fix this? is there anything simple or do i just have to take it to a mechanic to get a good tune up?

sounds like stem guide seels i have the same prob with my 2lt

what color smoke?
is EGR disabled? is EGR butterfly disabled ?
have you got a catch can fitted (could be sucking more oil via the blowby).
also check airfilter.

all the rest is standard nothing modified

check air filter. you could be getting a bit more boost hence more fuel, especially if smoke is only at full throttle.
otherwise sticky egr will certainly do it.
highly recommend blocking off egr and disabling egr butterfly. if still smoking after that then start looking at other things.
