Hi all

im a aucklander, been 4wding for a while in my crappy old lwb gen 1 pajero, it didnt get very far and i have become good with a shovel.

I recently purchased the supercahrged v6 bighorn listed on here and trademe for sale. viewtopic.php?f=17&t=10853, got it off the transporter last friday night and took it up to the ahipara gum fields for the weekend. Ive discovered my driving ability is not quite up to the truck but there is only one way to learn.

Looking forward to being part of the community and hopefully getting to do the infamous thompsons track everyone talks about so much.I am also looking forward to the opening of the woodhill 4wd forest park.

This would be good for you. It can be as easy or as hard as you want to make it. The drive to Rotorua would be worth it.

welcome aboard, i was the owner of the bighorn then swapped it to the guy you brought it off, bloody awsome truck . i thought the truck was unstoppable intil i got stuck at the base of a lake the day i got it.took 6hours to dig it out and got covered in mud.if you need to no anything about it il do my best to answer it. I went in a hole that was a little bit deeper than I thought and the water was just lapping over the bonnet on the weekend and I ended up sh*%@#ng myself thinking I was about to kill it on the first outing but it just managed to crawl out. You wouldnt know what the red missile looking switch in the middile console behind the gear lever is would you?

thats awsome, goes anywhere.at the moment the switch doesnt do anything but it use to run nos, but was disconnected when the motor had a rebuild. Rich

you got that truck off me,and the money has gone into my cruiser,i never took it off road in the 3 weeks i owned it,so cant tell you much,but my cruiser is awesome

yeah it seems to be a good truck and goes well, hopefully taking it for another spin this weekend
