started trying to take my starter motor off my samurai today took possitive lead off took top mounting bolt off but now i do not no where to go i have tryed taking off the neg lead bolt but it just wont come and is very hard to get to the bolt. hope someone can help me with this as its vey anoying, tryed just kicking the truck but it didnt work. and does anyone no why they have mitsubishi on the starter motor and not suzuki considering its a suzuki engien id have thought it would be a suzuki starter motor. hope someone can help with this matter.cheers.

No help to get bolt out , just suck it up and get in there
But Misti make all kinds of things for all kinds of cars , ecu's , relays etc .
Off an ausie forum those someone said a mitsi lancer 1995ish is the same starter as the 413

Think my suzuki has a mitsi starter on it too...

hey its a little easyer underneith because u can actualy see the bolt but i need to have another go at it tomorrow hope its not so frustrating.

well got the bugger off just fine, took the motor apart cleaned all the parts put back together tested before i got it into the truck and works perfectly. put in truck then turned key starter motor runs but doesnt make contact with the motor or whatever it should contact with. then found a missing peice on the floor not sure where it goes though hope someone can shed some light on this for me.

Pretty sure it goes in where the lever that slides the pinion out. It will be why it is not engaging on the fly wheel.
Have you got a hayes manual for the zuk? I have one here that I don't need if you want it.

Toy - Zuk chassis tub, hilux 4.88 axles and transfer, Nissan CA18DE motor and auto trans, sc12 supercharger, 32 10'5 simex, twin motor 8274 custom freespool. Well the parts are all there in various corners of the shed
