That bit of the track has always been a bit of a hoot. When it is pouring with rain, it can give up alot more excitement than you could ever wish for

Just curious why the towed vehicle kept dropping back? Surely you would want to keep as much progress as you can?
Although the position the Cruiser was in I suppose he needed more of a run up.
Dammit I need to get out in my truck more and start learning these things. Also that vid goes to show how well LSD/Locking diffs work.

The hole is very wide, only safaris have the wheelbase to straddle all other vehicles need to get it right or else...its all over. Lockers definitley help with this track. Someone mentioned its fun when wet, should try it with a couple of inches of ice on it.

...go to work Richard!!!
I was Ginea in Haast too, great weekend again with a slurry of muddy water over the auto shift console again and a wet drivers seat, I hosed heaps of silt outa the door pockets again, need to drill some bigger holes!.
The Handbag went well as did the 9500ti, stayed upright and came back mostly unscathed, look forward to the next game.
Might be forced to build small bumpers to stop shortening the front too ... nutha project

A mohawk to look tough and some gold chains will set it off too.

Good to see you on the site finally Andi!
And Typically you would choose what used to be Mike's Breasties as your Avatar
Some time ago there was a decision made here to reduce the capacity to offend those who might be looking over our shoulders whilst at work.....
Hope to see you up for a play on Al's trip.

I cant be biased and favour Paul
So here is one of Andi in 2000 towing a hilux up Subaru Hill which was real greasy from the rain earlier in the day. Once again most trucks couldnt drive it that day.
Howie Pannell in his trip report said " 0800 I want one"

Cheers Andi remember Im still Bulletproof

Heya John .. just what we need more PCism on our play ground, I think there is a bunch of people on this earth that need to harden up and get on with life and don't look at it if they don't want too, fairly simple really, won't be too long and you won't be able to fart in public without being done.... next thing there will be sugar free Chocolate and fat free pies!!!
Not sure if we can get up to Al's or not as we are away the following weekend too, too many good trips coming up eh.
