Hey my mate has just bought a cherokee and wants to put his 33"s on it, its got a 4.5"lift so we will need to cut the guards a bit. ANyway currently it runs wrangler31s and on the standard steel jeep rims. It rubs a little in the back on flex so we guna need offset rims. What offset to get? does the jeep 5 stud pattern match the suzuki by any chance? Also electric windows playing up they go down but very slowly but then wont go back up. It seems that maybe there isnt enough power getting to them???they all the same

Early Jeeps did which had the 5 stud 139.7mm PCD. However modern Jeeps including the Cherokee and Wrangler have 5 stud 114.3mm PCD I believe.(I used to own a Lada Niva which had the same stud pattern as early Jeep and Suzuki).
Modern Jeep is the same as Hilux 2WD only, Chrysler Valiant, Ford Falcon etc. although these only run 14" wheels.

somewhere around here is the thread you're after

this has been discussed on here before

I know of a guy in Taupo who fitted 33s with no lift at all and only minor inner guard trimming

Jeeps never came out with metric stud patterns, so the actual stud patterns as far as I know are:

5 on 4.5" bolt pattern - Jeep XJ, YJ, TJ, ZJ, and KJ
5 on 5.5" bolt pattern - Jeep CJ
5 on 5" bolt pattern - Jeep WJ, WH and JK

You have to keep in mind backspacing as well on the rims. That is where things start becoming interesting.

Have a read of this http://www.offroadexpress.co.nz/Forums/viewtopic.php?f=32&t=5679

Also, this website is good for referencing as well: http://wheels.customfastcars.com/find-your-stud-pattern.html
