Shocks

Post by southland_Feroza »

I have a gotten a set of hilux shocks for my 1990 feroza but when the hilux shocks are compressed they are a bit longer then the original feroza ones. Will this be an issue for me??

Should be ok as long as your bumpstops are long enough to stop the shocks bottoming out at full compression

Put a packer in (between the bumpstop and chassi mount)to increase the height of the bumpstops so the shocks dont bottom out.

I made some up for my old suzuki from 12mm ali bar. Just shaped and drilled to fit and then used longer bolts. I guess steel flat bar would be okay also, just a little harder to work.
