It all started at this place here

The 2008 Q/bd Trip for

The first morning started off cool and calm, as we made our way to the Doughnut Hole
A collection of smiling faces was the order of the day

And the biggest smile award goes to...............

Is that the Kat in the Hat??

The Mighty Whale

The water was rather cold

But that didn't stop Taz01 completing his usual trick

Which resulted in this

We then split into groups and headed in seperate directions
We tackled Wacko and had no problems climbing out of the mudhole

Although this did result in some issue's with Jumper's electric's

Which resulted in a two hour tow back to the Green Hut.
After lunch we swapped areas and tried our luck on different ground
The afternoon concluded with a run up the ramp back at the Airstrip
Just to prove that Bubba did more than stand around like a poser, here he is

Sorry, I meant here

I let Coxsy run my 40 series up the ramp

And here are the result's..............

Much to Nick's credit he put the Zuki up the ramp and didn't roll it

Anyway the afternoon concluded with everyone relaxing and reparing broken wagons and ego's

It isn't that cold down here...

Jerry repairing his thingy

We had a surprise appearance from a stranger call "Mike"

He ran around and took a few vid's before dissapearing into the night (we know what you were doing on Q/Bd weekend

Next morning was fine and crisp

We made our way to the gate to meet up with the other day trippers.

But for some the day was over before it began..........

The Men in Coats ran around looking important and making sure no one got lost or left out

So with 31 vehicle's we headed off into the trees

And into the Ruts........

Take note of the young fella's driving style. Just shut you eyes and go for it

And then lunch

Where is Taz01???

It was great that Mark parked the Nissan in the creek, next to the stuck Landrover, so they didn't feel left out

Then into the Slippery Forest and the hill climb. Paul gave it his best and it is evident that he still must have oil in his motor.

After a play in the mud we headed back to the Rallywoods and the Green Hut.

Paul tried to launch the Budget version of Cruiser Air

But due to rising fuel prices Malcom pulled the pug on anymore attemps to get airborne....

Monday morning and time to head out for a play

Guess the number plate

Bloody bagels kept turning up everywhere

Trust me guys, check under you air cleaners cause I just found some under mine

Badnuz new roof profile

And the Hillbilly award had to go to the boys from the big smoke

Jumper decided to use Pauls method of checking the oil levels in the 40

Then Crispy decided to end the trip in style...................

Much to Badnuz shock

This photo sum's up the weekend....

A fun weekend with people getting out and doing it Kiwi Style
Roll on next year.
Big thanks to the hardwork put in by everyone and also to those who travelled from aways to help make it happen
