Thought that might get your attention.
Now i own a 91 3vze surf v6 auto. i want to build a decent truck, nothing to extreme, just a capable bush, mud truck.
Im a bit sceptical about these surfs with the c.vs, and shit ifs, shit fuel economy, everything electric.
Ive looked at a 60 series surf, i can pick it up for 2 grand, its in fair condition, no rust, been raised, engine goes mint, dun less ks than my 91 surf.
Reason these models appeal to me is solid front, the bullet proof 2ltr engines and the fact that they are such a basic, mechanical truck, that i could do all mods and maintenance myself. anyone who has seen under the bonnet of the v6 petol surf knows they resemble something of a birdsnest of wireing and all sorts of extras to go wrong.
So im asking for you opinion? are you guys backing me up?
I can sell my current surf for more than the price of the 60 series im looking at.
Is it a beta move to start with a 60 series surf.
Its a 2lt manual, no power steer, raised with manual locking fronts.
Your opinion will help me decide as i gota give this guy an answer nex couple days
