I am building up a escudo with hilux diffs front and rear am looking to put a v6 commodore engine in it was wondering what transmission and transfer case would work with out to much modification.

Have looked at a old post and has mentioned using a T700 transmission with an adapter plate.did it end up being done ?

isnt there a smaller 4cylinder (think lighter) engine that would do the job for you? Maybe a 4agze (Supercharged for low grunt) or a nissan rb25...

Keep us posted.

Ah yes (glad someone picked up on my deliberate mistake). I guess I am deficient in my knowledge outside of my chosen Marque (and that has big holes in it also).
