whats it worth?

i have an sj413 and just after some opinions on what its worth.
its a 1985 sj413
1600 8 valve vatra motor
certified roll cage
130k
2 owners since new, extremly tidy for age, possibly one of the tidyest ive seen
has had carberator rebuilt and new radiator also
any ideas on what its worth?

Hi,
I last sold an '88 with 180kms for $4,500 privately. It was pristine, two owners, with absolutely everything done regardless of cost; new cambelt, diff's/gearbox/transfer and full service, wheelbearings etc. you name it, he had it done.
I guess that means your's should be somewhere around $4,000 flat out, but as always, it's worth however much or little someone is prepared to pay!

If you are considering selling make sure you post it up, as I have a mate who's looking to get one at the moment. He's figured out its not worth the $10,000 he was quoted to modify his Lada!

Yeah its mine, im thinking of upgrading but all depends what i get for zuk if i decide to sell it.

is cert only for engine and rollcage? (is it 6 pt cage?)

roll cage is certed, the guy i bought it from was told the engine did not have to be certed and i was told it was ok because less the 20% power increse and another guy off the site didnt have to have his done eather. tyres are 28s i think but a geting a bit worn, has a small bull bar on front not sure what u men by 6pt roll cage but its pretty good one.

Is the cage just in the back or does it come up front and have bars above the driver/passenger too?
All depends on how quickly you want to sell it etc etc but would have guessed about $3500-4000
On a sidenote i'm not sure if thats correct about the engine certification... Just means it may be worth a little less to someone who is worried about it. If you are interested here's a link to a page from the regulations...

yeah the cage comes right to the front and has a diagonal bar behind the seats.
