Looking to sell one of the household Jeeps.

97 TJ Renegade, 170-odd kms, 2inch OME lift, 31inch kumhos, hardtop, transmission rebuilt only last week, (for the 2nd time in 13 months, this time the trans cooler was replaced also, as it had been leaking into the ATF)
$10,500.00

Reason for selling...... given the fuel issues the world is gripped in, I decided to buy the wife a 5.7l (350 chev!!) 2000 VT Commodore. Therefore, some room needed to be made, and her TJ has to go.

I'll post up some pics soonish.

So you want to use whatever oil is left as quickly as possible, I like your logic 8) 8)

Sorry to see a Jeep go, but at least you are not getting a Ford or something Japanese!

PS: Can you not keep the hardtop for yourself??

Considered keeping the hardtop, however that leads to two other scenarios.

Hardtop with my soft upper half doors. Not really the go.
Hardtop and swap the doors also, which then require two sets of doors to repaint. Too much drama and dollars

Ill keep the soft top on mine as is. More money then to keep the VT fed.

Especially since the early 5.7 motors have an appetite for oil, with piston slap a no cost option from the factory hehe :o

That aside, I'm loving the gas prices, makes the real cars affordable (to buy).

Its more aerodynamic!!! My Grand Cherokee (4.7l V8) is more economical than my TJ (4.0l I6). TJ has the same aerodynamics as a brick. Yes gearing and tyres are different, but Grand Cherokee weighs a good 500 kgs more.
