lowering diff if possible?

hey i saw in the cheap suzuki lift forum someone said they were going to lower their diff to help their cv's is this possible and if it is... is it as hard as it sounds?

You really only need to lower the front diff on a vitara/escudo if you're going over about two inches suspension lift. It's not too hard, but you need to get good bracketry made up accurately.

Yeah I had to do it to the scud after its 3" suspension lift. Took it to our engineer at work, told him what I had to do. He had the Calmini Brackets modified within a couple of hours and they fitted perfectly. Havn't had an issue with CV's since.

im getting some lowering brackets from the uk.
i couldnt get calmini brackets seperate so my sister is bringing them with her in a week or so and reece @ de-ranged engineering is going to make something similar when they get here, so might be worth getting in touch with him in a few weeks.

Me too, if I ever get the daughter's trucks finished so I can start on my own.
