Webber carb in a 3Y??

Anyone done this?? can get my hands on a manifold adaptor plate here in CHCH, but not sure if it is a good idea, the carb is off a 2lt cortina.

i dont see why not, if you got adaptor plate and can be made to fit, its just a mater of tuneing it to suit, isnt it???
2ltr cortiner, and the 3y cant be too far apart as far as power goes

did ya fit the weber to the 3y mate? ive got a 3y also, keen to know what improvements it gave ya

Na, ended up getting a free carb kit and giving it a bloody good overhaul, still have the webber there... maybe when i run out of things to fix or mod on the ol' girl.
