annoying door bonger...goooone (PradoKZJ78)

Finally tracked down the wires of the annoying reminder bonger that goes (& goes & goes & goes) when key is in ignition and door is open.
This is the switch - very low power, bottom connection didn't even light circuit tester lamp to earth


Plug under bottom of steering column


Simply pull out and viola - silence...............ahhhh

muhahaha I have found the evil contraption on my 70 series
it is located near the passengers left foot, next to the 4wd computer.
its called a 'key reminder' its a surprisingly complicated circuit with a 10 pin chip on it.
Its in about 10 peices now.
