Post by zookfest »

the pre heat elemnt in the intake manifold of my 13bt cruiser has died and today i started ringing around to try and find one not a thing anywhere and then i tried toyota and they would sell me the set up with timer etc for $1300
so now im thinking i could try use a heat element from something else it needs to be 24 volt

any ideas or does anyone know how to maybe jimmy something like this up,im willing to pay my way

I was thinking that a pic might help ...

You can do all sorts of things with nichrome wire ( it's the stuff used in the old style bar heaters
There is no mechanical problem so difficult that it cannot be solved by brute strength and ignorance.
