exhaust setup

Post by gimmemud »

Hey guys, took my surf in to the cert man today and one of the things he failed me on was that my exhaust was too loud. Was just wondering how someone with a 3.8 commodore motor in their truck did there exhaust setup so i can pass my cert.
Currently it just has two coby's and sounds very nice, but apparently not nice enough for cert man.

go get a decent muffler fitted. no point getting pulled off the road for a loud exhaust.
if you have a hiflow exhaust system DO NOT fit a "standard" muffler (poor flowing) on the rear.
