Have you changed to 10" rims to fit the new tyres Malcolm?

if you fit spacers you will have to get it certified to be road legal would be cheaper to get different rims.

in my opinion spacers are a temporary measure.if you are going to keep the pitbulls (you could give them to me :D )you would be better off going for a sixty housing , this will give you the extra width with still full stud thread contact .i,ve got a sixty housing (for my next incarnation) you can have and just replace it ,if this helps.probably a bit short notice to put it in but its just gathering dust from sadams motor at the moment (which is almost finished ,yaaaa) :D

your rims are still sitting on the floor, yours are the next set to do, but grab them tomorow and chuck them on :D and then you can clean them cause i dont like getting dirty hands when working

if you get stuck ,my spare 10.5 inch bead lock rims (which are stripped at the moment ) have lots of offset (stick out the side lots )and you are more than welcome to borrow them .can fit them up tomorrow night if you want

Better still Mitch could wag school tomorrow (you'll have to write a note for his teacher Malcolm) and he can beadlock the new rims and change the backspace for you tomorrow at work and if your lucky there will be time for a bit of paint to be sprayed on them before you swap the tyres over tomorrow night

Do you think if I use my old rims the tyres would clear the springs
Pittbulls are a bit wider than the Kumhos I had on

if your gonna use spacers theyre the best sort.... ive seen quite a lot of sheared of studs because of those 'slip-on' spacers, and thats only on car wheels, i hate to think how much more force a 33 or 35 inch mudd on a heavy steel rim would have....

the bolt on ones are still bloody hard on bearings though.

these were running 39 tyres for 2yrs never had any probs with bearings and the wider wheel base made a big differance in the ruts

I stopped in at Robs Tyre Shop this afternoon to talk some bullshit and tell some lies and I had a look at Malcolm's new tyres and the ones on Robs Cruiser..... and Fark me those pitball's are wide

Shit they made Malcolm's old 35" kumho's look like little space saver tyres
