So I was looking online (as you do to kill time) and I saw these.
http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Motor ... 024892.htmhttp://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Motor ... 024668.htmWill they fit an escudo? If not what would need to be done to make them fit or is it too much hassle. I would ask on Tardme but how would I know if it was correct (at least on here you guys have no vested interest in the sale).
I have the autos at the moment and will need to replace them eventually, so I am always looking for a bargain.
Cheers,
Heath

Yeah. I've looked at these as well, because I need a set for the second truck.
Then I went and priced up brand-new manual hubs and found I could get them for about $260. (It depends where you go, and how well they will look after you as the top quotes were over $420)
Because of this I think I'll pay a little bit more and go new. The last set I got were second-hand and virtually unused, but still let me down on the first trip as I had to strip them on the side of the track and de-rust/clean/lube them to get them to engage. At least I know how they work now!

i have aisin hubs on mine that i took of a 413, pull them to bits before you put them on and you wont have a problem with them , the auto ones are probaly the best auto ones ive used , i smashed 5 front diffs and one axle on the auto hubs before one shattered, i only went to manual cause my diffs are both locked and i cruise in 2wd low range quite a bit, while swapping your hubs repack your front bearings as they dont last long doing 4wding around water and mud.

Sweet , if you guys are prepaired to pay over $200 secondhand what are the set of lock hubs I just found in my shed worth to you guys ? Never worry about them jamming up or unlocking etc

. Make me an offer if anyone wants them . I can't run them as I need to unlock the front diff now
