15x7 rims and 32x11.5x15 tyres

Post by northland_pajero »

I have a set (5) safari steel spoke rims for my Pajero, they currently have 31x10.5015 Kumho MTs on them.

I am thinking of going to 32x11.5x15 bfg mt with heavey duty tubes.

Looking for some advice / opinions etc on whether they will go on my 15x7 rims or will I have to look at new rims?

Cheers

I have a set of 33x12.5x15 Maxxis on Safari rims. They fit fine. They go well on the Pajero. Your ones will be OK

The reason I ask is most tyres that are bigger then ##x10.5X15 require a rim that is wider than 7 inches, the pajero is my only vehicle so needs to be road legal, wof, insurance etc

I have never had an issue at wof time with these wheels. You will need to tell insurance company that you dont have standard wheels anyway. Just tell them you have fitted 7" rims and tell them the tyre size. They wont have a problem with it.
