Got an extra coby put on the surf today, so that means three now. hopefully its quiet enough for the cert man now. also got the 35s balanced so the cert man can do a road test and whole damn 500grams a wheel makes a lot of difference to how it drives. gotta look at the steering column now tighten it up somehow and then put the driveshaft safety loop on. fun times!

Never had a hard top, is certed as a soft top with roll cage etc. I stuck a hard top on it because of winter, back doors haven't been mounted yet.

stripped the front end of my hack around surf and pulled the diff out, ready for a few mods but limited to a 2 week build at this stage. have a couple of diff locks that i might put in it well i decide if its going to get the sas or get sold, probably can't justify having two big rigs but funny enough after doing a fair bit of work on this one i have become attached to it.

Took my truck out for a drive.
Found out that the red shift light comes on at 5700 Revs

Had been wondering what it was set to so confirmed a number of times while out today.

after a slow start, wife decided new kitchen was due. bang goes a week of build time on jeep, i managed to get in the shed for a couple of hours, mounted a second radiator, turns out the rover rad was a sprinkler head, got a prelude radiator in and mounted, oil coolers half mounted, fuel filter and battery mounted, just need return line and pump and we can gas it up, sorted out adapter fitting required, so a bit of shopping to do this week, then start on installing the wiring and new computer. hope to fire it up next weekend and get it to work to fiberglass the body work.

Bought myself a scooter to get to work on. Similar to this one pictured, but its blue.

It had been dropped so has some major cracks in the plastic faring and scratches, but will be fine for me to run around on.
Should save a shit load on gas too.

I don't think it will take much to fix up with a bit of glue.
The truck is becoming expensive to run to work, the auto tranny wasn't getting warmed up enough for the open road section either.
And it came with a free helmet, although it is a bit grotty

, it will do for now.

packed up and saw land rover depart - after dropping bull bar on my foot. good luck with it to someone who shall remain nameless but likes landies. so after it had gone yesterday found my foot was getting sore, didnt sleep much last night due to pain and then this morning ( after the missus telling me toughen up all day yesterday) drove myself off to the hospital to get it looked at. got there at 7.53 am left at 11.20 am - and its a quietish country hospital ( masterton) with my leg in plaster. there goes the rest of my day - and I had a busy one planned as well - tidying garage, going to tip etc. on crutches for 2-3 weeks, in plaster for at least 6. broken bones in feet. ah well never mind plenty of time to think about plans on the terrano now. still have to work tomorrow though.
