hit the nail on the head DJ, depends on what you call semi street....... have seen the same head produce 580hp and 560lbs of torque. going on a 377 (350 with 400 crank, with 4.000 bore). mite have them polished yet.... will see how they go.

a few basic engine specs, everything is new.

4bolt mains block
JE pistons
Eagle forged 4340 H beam rods
Eagle forged 4340 crank
AFR 195 eliminator heads with 8mm race valves
Crower solid roller lifters
Crane gold race rockers
Custom ground cam
10.13:1 CR

Hi semi street is just a figure of speach for those who dont know shit from clay but I just used that as saying that its a street preformance type of head thats better than a cast type of simular design As you are aware a good head job is not the complete package but a nice place to start    and when added to a MATCHED collection of bits will turn your toes up. I have recently installed a set of AFR heads to a SBF and have been inpressed with the results. Pity they dont make them for BB olds motors
What are you going to do with all of these goodies
cheers

mmmmmmmmmmmm horsies yum yum. go hard. how much room is left in those heads for opening up the chambers and porting? last sb I built up my brother and I spent about 60 hours on porting and re shaping a set of heads to get an nice open flow. think the guy with the flow bench he was taking them to every couple of days to test was getting really shitty with us in the end but that with a hilift crower cam and roller followers on a 327 bored 30 thou, re line bored etc etc etc man did she pull. it was hard to take off from the lights without smoking the tyres.....   big change now for me driving pos 13bt with every bit of guts dragged out by 35" tyres.....
