Toyota FJ40 for sale

1980 SWB, Diesel, 4" Lift, 33" BFG Muds, Bucket Seats, Roll Cage...

Been pulled back to chassis and repainted rust taken out under body with cosmetic rust still to be done around body - nothing major... Great truck only selling as I need one with back seats... would consider swap for SWB pajero or the likes... check out listing and photos.

You could just fit a pair of bucket seats in the back of the 40. It worked for me until the kids lost interest in going out with their parents...

Yeah that was a plan.... but the cost of certification, seat belts, seats etc.... costs are too high...

Mine cost bugger all. A pair of seats and inertia belts rescued from a corrolla before it went through the car crusher cost me $30, and I made a frame from some scrap angle iron to bolt in between the rear wheel arches. Didn't get it certified, just removed it (4 bolts) for each WOF. It's been tested though - rolled 3 times with adults in the back...

same here. i put a seat outa a ford faimont in the back of my 40, welded up a frame and bracket, bolted to the floor, made bracket for retractable seatbelt. no cert, been through a few wofs now at different places. my cous got the back seat from a van to put in the back of his, fits like a glove between the wheel arches.
