we need 20 marshalls for deadwood which is on the 11th of october in whitemans valley.
if you can do the full day that would be best but if you can only do half a day thats better than no day
if you have never been a marshall thats ok cause you will get a briefing on it.

Whats happened to the regular ones??

the payed ones? they arent giving them this year or something like that, cost too much, im not 100% sure though, i just do what im told so i put this up

do the marshalls get a free lunch?

was keen but after a recheck at work it turns out that the social club wine trail is that saturday and as i've already signed up for that (plus being a commitee member i'm expected to go) i can't marshall dammit was looking foward to it too.

at a guess i would say yes, 5 doller lunch is a very cheap paid marshall, check with your dad

checked out the site today .looks like the marshalls will get an action packed day.plenty of mud and plenty of hill climbs .geez mitch do you want to roll lots .adjusted a couple of your hazards

how many of them are helping out

I realise marshalls are hard to get, but when ya have the biggest club in the country, I'm sure 30 of them could give a saturday to make some money for the club.

It benefits them.

1/ You were at our last club night when Roger made the announcement that there would be NO lunches provided this year

2/ Sorry I can not help as we have our last open home on where family and friends come and say goodbye before we jump on the big jet to Aussie. Move out of our house the following weekend and still got heaps of junk(treasures) left in my garage to dispose of.

3/ Think the shortage of marshalls has been a problem for years, that comes back onto the organisers all the time. Pity CCVC members can not get in behind it. But then when the club gives away all the money it makes from these events, suppose peeps think "why should we when our club gets no benifit financially from helping.

if they let everyone blast around in their POS, then the event wouldn't be run very well

its supposed to be a national event

so if you wanna conform to the rules and pay the entry fee and get license etc etc etc, then theres no reason why you couldn't blast around, but then you wouldn't be able to marshall

bugger .......guess i will have to marshall then.....

its always gona be on bluemountains rd in whitemans valley, this saturday, i think its like $15 to enter or free in you go to school, there is another thread somewhere about it

Sorry mitch, can't help as I have to slip away to do some shooting and then come back. What kind of numbers do you still require??
