Sammy Suspension

My bro has just bought a SJ70 Samurai (leaf spring model) and it needs new suspension. The springs are rather flattened.
He doesn't want to turn it into a huge offroader, just upgrade to better and give a slight lift to put on better wheels/tyres.
Has anyone got ideas?
I know Calmini do a sweet kit - but he doesn't want to spend that $$$.

hi you can get your original springs re tensioned. they will put the shape back into them fro you or you can surf trademe as there is sometimes some maxitrac 2 inch lifted heavy duty springs on there oh and you might need longer shocks too if your going to put some 2inch lifted springs as the stock shocks wont cut it. hope this helps u

Bellamy and East on Falsgrave St, under Jade Stadium, will sort your springs out. They can retension your old springs, add leaves or make a whole new set for you. They are pretty good to deal with.

Matt.

Yup cheers.
I know them quite well through work.
I never been a fan of re-set springs. They never seem to last very long before they sag again.
We use B&E to add overload springs to the Hilux's and Cruisers we set up for different companys. They real good guys.
If my bro doesn't want to spend much I'll prob have to get B&E to re-set and prob add a leaf or 2. Just trying to give him an option or three.
