Was run last year at the beginning of November, not sure if it is held every year or every two years. Can't find any info on it at all.

Cheers, Jeff.

Typical, found the info, it's on this bloody weekend! Why is it that in this country most 4wd events are like a big secret frikkin affair. The NZFWDA website is next to useless, no make that it is useless, totally useless. Never has any relevant info on anything. Whats the point in belonging to the association. Event organisers should make sure they bloody well give out the info to be passed on to the right people and publicised.

Looks like it will be anually, I went last year and it was quite good, not really hard core or anything but some of the scenery in there is awesome.

I did it years ago and found to be quite worthwhile. Is really only a scenic 4wd trip, no hardstuff but good to be able to play in an area where few others get to.

Shore4Wheels do a trip down there each year (or atleast used to) as one of their members in is the Defence Force and pulled some strings. That is one of the best trips I've ever done (up there with Whanga etc) and I hope to do it again.
