How can I easily tell if my truck has LSD and it's actually working properly.when on the road and going round "roundabouts"it will spin the rhs wheel,truly
Also without removing diff how to accuratly tell the ratio? id plate for axle is G254

Not sure about that info but according to the info i have its

G= 8 inch
25 = 4.56
4 = 4 spider open differential

if it was Limited slip the last number would be a 3 (2 spider LSD ) or 5 (4 spider LSD)

G = 8.0" gear
25 = 4.556
4 = 4 Pinion, Open Diff

Yeah hes right checked all codes on link,then jacked it up and spun wheels seems about right.
