what is this ?

ive fitted a pajero intercooler on my l200 some time ago and i was looking at it today and can any one tell me what this is in the pic ? its located on the rear right hand side of the intercooler
engine is the 4d56

It's a sender for the fan, lets is know when to turn on and off. I just wired my to a switch on the dash.

oh yeah do you reckon its a temperature sensor or pressure sensor? coz i wanna chuck a temperature gauge on it just cut the ends off one and wire it up to that ? , yeah i just wired my fan up to acc on ignition so its always going, thanks for that !
