g16a with g13 head

i been looking for a g16a head and well cant find one that is cheap enuff..... anyways have heard you can use a g13a or g13b head on my block, this may be a cheaper option ? what effect will this have on the engine? i have no idea and just need some light shed on this option!

From your other thread you have a 4 door vitara , this will/should have a 16v head on it . The 16v intake and manifold will not bolt up to an 8v head , so not likely to be much help for you .
But a 1300 head will bolt on to the 1600 block and all the 8v 1600 intake and exh will bolt up to the 1300 8v head . Web rumor is it gives it more torque but I expect this would be at the cost of top end power .
