its not rocket science taz easy as bogging .if you see the boys at dji in upper hutt they will sell u the resin and hardener a hell of a lot cheaper than the shops .top blokes as well .if you bring your own clean containers they will fill them for u ,you will need a small glass one for the hardener though .an empty 1.25 coke or lemonade bottle will work for the resin .from memory thats were stinkys patrol came from .if you want chop strand mating pretty sure i,ve got a pile in the garage :D

Had the same idea for mine after seeing that truck on outerlimits, then decided to just lose the canopy all together.

Thought you were gonna chop the back off and build a tray?

You can clean up all your gear using laundry power and water. Alot cheaper than the solvents.

get the cheap brushes, and toss when finished, not worth the effort of saving them, also if doing a larger area get a fibreglass roller, saves loads of time and get a better job, if glassing a vertical or over head surface, do not use chop strand mat, you will end up with one hell of a mess, use a cross woven cloth, dearer but more user friendly, also use latex or rubber surgical gloves, one trick i learned watching the gurus at work is they put on 4 or 5 pairs of gloves at once, and peel them off as they get covered in resin, if doing glassing in strips lay plastic sheet onto a board, lay the matting out and wet out on the flat, pick up the cloth before it turn translucent and apply and work in,

Cheers

Pedro
