Hey guys just wondering if anyone has tightened their lsd diffs and taken good photos??? Looking to do mine but wouldn't have a clue where to start and want to do it myself so next time its easy as. Would be awesome if someone could put it in the tech section/library so as for future reference.

i did mine to the max, put a thick washer in the center spring assembly, clamped up in a vice, measured the gap left in the spring pack ,and took the gap left + about .2mm off the thick washer, worked a treat, bit hard when using wheel brakes but generally it would drive ok

that a very different diff to mine, mine was a 4 spider hilux

haha ok i just got that off the net, not sure what its off, was just hoping it was similar. might just have to take mine out and hope i can see what you mean and manage to get it all back together

ide be keen to on this topic too, my l.s.d could do with a tighten. Hey mate i was watching a couple vids through a link on here put up by, is it Bigal? the guy with the yellow Zuk? Has your lux got a v6 in it or sumin? sounded half decent? or you just got big exhaust on the old 3y? What other good bits you got on your truck?

Yeah it's got a commie v6 and running 35s with body and susp. lift. And really slippery lsd front and rear. was trying to find some photos as i see your lookin to make a rear bar and do some mods.

yea the rear bar is half made, the main bar is bent up anyway, me old mans got all the gear, bender and welder so pretty strait forward. I got l.s.d in the rear a mine, quite supprising how effective they are, some people mock them, keeps me satisfied anyway. Keep in touck mate, as im keen to do more work to mine, and i see you live in Aucks, and im fairly new on here, good to have someone with a mod'd 60 a can refer back to
