http://www.trademe.co.nz/Members/Listin ... er=1435132 does anyone here have personal experience with this kit? looking for suspenion lift rather than a body lift (dont really like the sound of that.....or is that OK as well) so "muzza" if you are here or better still one of you "been there....done that" fellows could advise a newbie please? was "quoted" $1600 by the local 4wd shop.... and i mean THE shop, we only have one... so is the kit on TM easily fitted by a mechanic or would it be a specialist job ya reckon? also what are the alternatives.... the NON $1600 ones... picked up a cheapish LWB petrol, but will need a few things sorted on it suspension and steering wise to get it reliable and factory before lashing out on sorting the low ground clearance issues and getting new tyres.... sounds like 33" kumho road ventures might be the go

also need to fit some recovery hooks, rear should be a breeze.... but will ask a seperate ? regards fitting of a front hook as blowed if i can see where it might go....

The TradeMe trader muzzaduck has been making and selling kits for Pajero for sometime now.
The kits are proven and tested products with not so bad prices (my opinion) And seem very helpful with their kits.
They wont leave in the dark. The kits have very good and easy to understand instructions and tips with them for the
average DIYer.
No I'm not related to them at all, but They are proper Engineering company.
Cheers John.

i had lwb lifted king springs in the rear of my 93 soft top and a balljoint flip in the front with the torsions wound up. worked a treat and i got 33s on. did some guard trimming tho. if you have a hard top get std pajero offeset and you may not have to trim. that got me where i needed to go many times. suprised a few others also.

If you are after a cheap suspension lift, I put some old standard SWB Nissan patrol rear springs in LWB Pajero. For the rear shocks, Landcruiser 60 series will give you about 4" extra travel in droop but you will need to space down the bump stops to prevent them bottoming out in compression. It resulted in 5" lift, gave a very good ride quality and best of all cost nothing as most Nissan owners have a old set of springs sitting in the garage doing nothing. For the front I did a ball joint flip with spaces, trimmed the bump stops (make it tidy as the WOF man could fail you for this), and wound the torsion bars. I ran factory Nissan patrol, 7" wide, steel spokes and 33" tyres no problem.
The ride quality on road was better than factory and offroad it was a large improvement
