Marshalls required for the thermal thunder winch challenge out at Hanmer on the 1 & 2 November. Click on the link below to register your interest so I can get back to you all. Remember it includes free entry for both days, up front viewing, free food both days and you get to talk shit with the drivers and co-drivers. Just think of all those spectators looking down wishing they were you. Time to put your hands up boys and girls.

Where is the 4wd park, I can't help marshal but will be in Hanmer so might pop out for a look if allowed.

If driving in to Hanmer turn left after the servo, think it's called Woodbank Rd. It will be well signposted that weekend.

http://www.4x4events.co.nz/?q=node/3Sunday starts at 9am with entry at $5 per person or $15 per family at the gate and has a full on day of competition right in front of the spectators, food, drinks, and entertainment all in one place
It will be signposted from Hamner, Vehicles will be on show on teh Saturday

We finished the courses off yesterday. There has been some good rain out there and more coming this week. I noticed the difference in the courses. Shaping up to be a good day. You can get free entry if you marshall.

On my way back to Chch tomorrow I hope to be calling in and checking it out.
