Hi all sorry for the short notice but a couple of us Jafa,s are planning to do a run up Thompsons on this Saturday ,we will be at the start (Te Aroha) side at around 8_815 am the plan is to take a run up to the top and then go down the main track and check out the first few holes etc.Depending on time and track condition we may end up going right through so to do this part you Must be able to SELF RECOVER,(ie have a good operational winch ) We will be running Ch15 on PRS if anyone wants to tag along let me know ..Cheers.Steve

Hi Steve I thought Thomos was closed?
Peter V posted that earlier in the month something about it needing digger work or something?

Hi Rohan,Yes it was closed ,but a week or so ago we got a call from the Council saying its now open ,I spoke to someone who was up there last week they said the track was in pretty good cond apart from a couple of major holes that if wet would cause a few problems ,Steve
